Toyota vehicles history started in 1933 as a division of Toyoda Automatic Loom Works. By 1934, they produced their first engine that was then introduced in their passenger car and truck in 1935. In 1937, Toyota Motor Co was established as a separate company.

It was not until late 1957 that Toyota was introduced to the United States when Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A Inc was formed. They were headquartered in Hollywood California and had modest sales through the early 60s. As more Americans discovered the quality and reliability of the brand, by 1967 Toyota had become one of the top selling imports in The U.S. Huge success would soon come in 1968 when the Corolla was introduced. The Corolla would go on to become one of the worlds all-time best-selling passenger cars.

Today, Toyota is still recognized for its incredible reliability and high resale values. Toyota manufactures vehicles to exact tolerances using a combination of lightweight, high strength and mild steel as well as aluminum body panels.
